Intimacy in Life and Ministry

Summer 2004

Ministry is about people and building healthy, intimate relationships with them. In doing so, we have opportunity to develop the interpersonal and organizational processes that enable us to address the important issues of life and social interaction. Ministry is more than preaching at them; we are commanded to love one another. This means being involved in their lives, interacting with their joys and sorrows, and helping them live abundant lives in Christ. In this issue of Enrichment, we are addressing three areas of intimacy: intimacy with God, intimacy with self, and intimacy with others.
